Help Ghada from Gaza
United States
Help Ghada raise funds to provide urgent and essential needs including food and medical car for herself and family.
About Ghada:
Ghada is a 19 year old girl from Gaza City. Early in the war her family’s home was completely destroyed in an Israeli airstrike, burying all of their belongings and displacing her family from any security that their home previously provided. Since then she has been living in a small make-shift tent next to the rubble with her six family members just trying to get by. She is the oldest of her siblings, with her father missing for months now, and is seeking assistance to be able to provide food and basic medicine for her whole family.
All over Gaza food is incredibly expensive and even dangerous to secure. Their current situation living in a tent offers little safety. She hopes that with enough funding raised she may be able to find a more secure place for her family to stay until the war is over.
I was first connected with Ghada through a friend in the UK who has run several campaigns for families across Gaza. Having reached her capacity of running campaigns, she reached out to me to ask if I could take on Ghada’s request for help. I’m in touch with Ghada almost daily and can confirm her situation is unfortunately very real. We video call and she shows me the tent she calls home, the rubble on the streets around her, and even the two pet birds they managed to save and keep alive after losing everything else in their home.
From our conversations, it’s apparent that she is an incredibly resilient young woman. She still talks about wanting to pursue her studies and take exams, hoping one day to become a doctor and be able to help her people that she has witnessed so tragically in need since the war.
By donating to her campaign, you can help ensure that her family makes it through another week, securing even the smallest of comforts (flour, water, oil, painkillers) that may keep them moving forward.
From Ghada:
“Please help me raise money to fund essential needs for me and my family. My house was bombed and all my belongings, schoolbooks and clothing are under the rubble. I am currently living in a tent next to my bombed house. I am an excellent student and I am 19 years old. I stopped studying after they bombed our house. Please help me reclaim my future so I can continue studying what I love.” — Ghada
